If you bought your iPhone before August 22, you may be eligible for an instant $100 electronic credit toward the purchase of products at the Apple Retail Store or the Apple Online Store.
(If you purchased after August 22nd, you can recover the entire $200 difference through Apple's price protection plan.)
Next, you'll need to head to Apple's $100 early iPhone buyer store credit page and enter your phone's serial and mobile phone numbers.Subsequently, you'll receive an SMS message on your iPhone that provides an access code you can use to redeem your credit. In the fields provided, enter the access code to generate the store credit.
