Does the iPhone 6s have an upgraded camera?

The iPhone 6s camera has some significant improvements.

Early rumors suggested that the next generation iPhone could have a dual lens camera that would greatly improve photo quality. While this is not the case, the iPhone 6s iSight and FaceTime cameras have both been upgraded.

The rear iSight camera bumps up to 12 megapixels, and is capable of recording 4K video. The true tone flash is 3 times brighter.

Additionally, the front-facing FaceTime or "selfie" camera has improved to 5 megapixels. iOS 9 will also use the iPhone 6s display as a true tone flash when taking self portraits.
