How to add user ratings to Cydia packages

Ratings within Cydia

Getting the scoop on which Cydia tweaks and themes are worth installing can be tough. Cydia Ratings seeks to change this, by adding a user rating system inspired by the App Store to Cydia. The more people install and use Cydia Ratings the more reviews will be available to help Cydia users separate the wheat from the chaff. Not only can reviewers leave a 1-5 star review, but text comments are also supported.

Cydia Ratings also can let users know if ratings apply to the current version of a tweak, or if the tweak has been updated since reviews were recorded. In order to compose a new review, users must login to their Facebook account. Otherwise, once Cydia Ratings is installed there are no settings or options to configure. Simply open Cydia and start reading reviews of packages.

To get Cydia Ratings, add the Cydia repository http://apt.mootjeuh.com/ under Sources, as the package is still in beta. Click here for instructions on how to add a repository to Cydia.

Cydia Ratings is available from Mootjeuh's repository on Cydia free of charge. To start customizing iOS, click here for instructions on how to jailbreak iOS 8.4 with TaiG. Those with older firmware can use Pangu (iOS 7.1) or evasi0n 7 (iOS 7.0) to jailbreak.
