Britney Spears: American Dream

Glu Games has been busy trying to recreate the huge success they have had with their hit App Store release, Kim Kardashian: Hollywood. The mobile game developer has released titles based on Kendall and Kylie Jenner and pop star Katy Perry. Glu's interactivec games based on pop culture celebrities have been such cash cows that everyone from Demi Lovato to Selena Gomez have tried to cash in on the craze, but Glu seems to know how to do it best.

The company's latest release Britney Spears: American Dream comes ahead of the Oops!... I Did It Again singer's planned ninth album release. Glu's Katy Perry Pop wasn't centered around a major album release, which may have hurt it on the App Store charts. Spears is scheduled to receive the Billboard Millennium Award and perform her new single at the popular awards show on May 22. Releasing the game while Spears is busy making headlines has helped it gain recognition in Rolling Stone magazine and other popular publications.

Britney Spears: American Dream is another free-to-play RPG aimed at tween and teen girls. Players can create their own pop star while working their way through the music industry. The game allows users to create their own songs and album covers while collecting rewards, such as clothes, pets and mansions. Players can compete with other players to be number one on the charts and even start their own record label.

The game has already earned a solid five star rating after only being released a few days ago. It is available for free on the App Store, with heavy IAPs. Britney Spears: American Dream supports all devices running iOS 7.0 or later and the game is rated 12+.
