How do I stop Siri from using explicit language?

Siri will only repeat explicit language via text if you use explicit language. The digital voice assitant doesn't verbally repeat any bad words and will normally scolds users for using such language. You can stop Siri from spelling out curse words when spoken to her and stop her searching Wikipedia, Bing and Twitter by following the instructions below.

  1. Open the Settings app on the device you want to restrict.
  2. Navigate to General > Restrictions.
  3. Enter or create a 4-digit password only you will know and remember.
  4. Scroll down to "Allowed Content" then tap Siri.

From here you can tap the Explicit Language and/or Web Search Content sliders so they are OFF/WHITE. Disabling the Explicit Language will cause Siri to censor explicit language and disabling the Web Search Content slider will stop Siri from performing web searches that may bring up unsavory websites and information.
