Apple has added a new Siri Easter egg to promote the Lego Batman movie now in theaters. iOS users can transform their Siri-enabled devices into Batman's computer by saying "Hey Computer" or "Hey 'Puter." Siri will then respond with one of several new Batman-themed phrases, such as “How can I help you, Lego Batman," or "Hello, sir I've heated up your lobster thermidor in the microwave." Siri will also throw shade at Alfred and make other references to the new film.
You can transform Siri into the Batcomputer by launching your personal assistant using the Home button or voice command "Hey, Siri." You can then use the phrase "Hey 'Puter" to invoke one of the new Lego Batman responses.
Siri is no stranger to Easter eggs. Apple has included hidden pop culture references in Siri's responses since the personal assistant was first introduced on the iPhone 4s in 2011. One of the original Siri Easter eggs was from the film 2001: A Space Odyssey, and she has since made jokes about Cookie Monster, Inception and more.
The Lego Batman Movie opened in theaters last weekend beating out Fifty Shades Darker and John Wick: Chapter Two for the top spot at the box office with an estimated $55.6 million. The sequel to the hit 2014 Lego Movie has earned an impressive 91% rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes.
