iMessage Business Chat offers a new way for businesses to communicate with their customers in the Messages app. Conversations are initiated by the customer directly from Safari, Siri, Spotlight or Maps. Users can also discover Business Chat from within third-party apps.
Apple revealed Business Chat at WWDC17. The service is designed to provide answers to customers, including support and the ability to purchase products. Other features such as iMessage apps, Apple Pay and calendar integration can be used within Business Chat.
