The Apple partnership with Nike continues. Hot on the heels of the limited edition NikeLab comes the Air VaporMax Flyknit "Day to Night" collection. These running shoes are perfectly color matched with Nike+ styled watch bands, which will be available along with the shoes starting on June 1st.

Market research firm Strategy Analytics has declared Apple the wearable device leader in the first quarter of 2017. According to the report, Apple captured 16 percent of the total market for wearables during the first three months of the year. In fact, Apple and Xiaomi bumped Fitbit out of the top slot, representing a significant challenge to the previous market leader.

This week, running fans can get the latest exclusive wearable from Apple and Nike. The Apple Watch NikeLab is the latest twist on the Nike+ line of Apple Watch designs. The limited edition, neutral-toned NikeLab comes with an exclusive light bone and black band. The matched Apple Watch Series 2 case is space grey, and like other Nike watches it features deep integration with the Nike+ Run Club app.

Apple has updated its website with an October 28th release date for the Apple Watch Nike+. Apple originally unveiled the Series 2 Watch at its iPhone 7 keynote back in September. It was revealed that the Watch would be available in four colors for $369, but a release date was never mentioned. There are two versions of the Watch with four different Nike Sport Band options. The different models include a Space Gray case with Volt (lime) or Cool Gray band and a Silver Aluminum case with Volt or White band. Each Watch is also available as a 38mm or 42mm version.
