iPhone owners looking to downgrade from iOS 10 to the previous version (iOS 9.3.5) are out of luck. This week, Apple stopped signing the latest iOS 9 firmware. This means that downgrading to the earlier operating system is not possible. At this time, the only versions of iOS that can be installed are iOS 10.0.2 and 10.0.3. Apple released iOS 10.0.3 exclusively for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. For all other iPhones iOS 10.0.2 remains the current version.

The second update to iOS 10 has arrived. iOS 10.0.3 is targeted exclusively at the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The release comes in advance of the highly anticipated iOS 10.1 update, which was just seeded in its fourth beta iteration to developers and public beta users. iOS 10.0.3 fixes a bug that has caused cellular connectivity problems for some users, initially discovered on the Verizon network.

There are times when fans of the stock Notes app want to copy their notes between iOS devices. First off, restoring from a backup will copy all notes stored in the backup to a new iPhone. However, setting up an iPhone as a new device (and not using the backup) is a different story. Getting a new iPhone, iPad or iPod touch means old notes could potentially be lost. iCloud will automatically sync notes saved to iCloud folders, but locally stored notes can easily be stranded on an older device.

A few months ago we looked at some of the features you can disable in iOS 10, but there are also some new features you're stuck with. For example, some iPhone users were disappointed to realize that there is no way to disable the Handwriting option in the Messages app. It was also discovered that you can stop receiving or sending all screen effects by disabling the the Reduce Motion slider under Settings > General > Accessibility . However, this caused some confusion since most people already had the slider disabled which blocked them from sending both bubble or screen effects after they installed iOS 10.

After just one week in the iMessage App Store, the sticker pack titled Phoneys has shot up the charts to number one. Instead of sitting back and enjoying his success, developer Adam Howell is now faced with an ultimatum from Apple. Despite the fact that Phoneys was approved by the company's app review process, it will be pulled from iMessage unless Howell makes substantial changes to the design.
