Report: Apple working on foldable iPhone for 2020

According to Bank of America Merrill Lynch analyst Wamsi Mohan, Apple has radical plans for the future of its iPhone lineup. Mohan issued a report stating that Apple was working on a flexible iPhone model, for release as early as 2020. In considering the upcoming new design, the Wall Street firm also reiterated its buy rating on Apple stock.

Designer Martin Hajek is at it again, posting 3D renderings of his latest iPhone 7 concept. Based on the most recent rumors and leaks, the concept highlights various new features, chiefly an updated colorway said to be in the works. Apple has released various shades of Space Gray over the years, and according to reports, the iPhone 7 will bring a darker variant that is closer to the Space Black Apple Watch.

Apple is set to make a splash for the 10th anniversary iPhone next year. According to the latest rumors, the company will break new ground in industrial design with radical changes to the iPhone 8. Most of the leaks surrounding the upcoming iPhone 7, which is expected to launch in September, point to a design very similar to the iPhone 6s. This has analysts worried that consumers will not be excited enough to upgrade their devices.

With all the recent talk of a 4.6-inch iPhone screen in the works, Italian design studio ADR has released a new iPhone 5 concept. The latest renderings from ADR are impressive, although they truly push the limits of what's possible.

Maybe this is why we like them so much! Not only does the concept show off a massive Retina display, but the front of the device actually consists of three separate screens. The top and bottom displays are narrow and consistently show the same information. This provides more space for the main screen to run apps.
