For those of you who have picked up cases for the iPhone, which did you get and what do you think of it?

Hey there, Well, I am using the incase Protective Cover, in black. Goincase.com states: Designed to provide ultimate in easy-access and functionality, the Incase Molded Rubber Case provides direct access to widescreen with touch controls, speakerphone and microphone openings, a camera lens cutout and access to dock connector. The form-fitting construction keeps your iPhone protected without adding bulk to your iPhone while the custom topographic pattern gives this molded case the attention to detail you are use to seeing from Incase. I love it; only one problem, is that with time the rubber mold seems to stretch out just a bit, causing some of the silver lining of the iPhone to show, but nothing that can't be hidden...it provides great grip and everything, and still makes my iPhone look very sleek I am also using an invisishield screen protector, and I am in love

That's not bulky in your pcoket compared to the bare phone?
Did you get the full screen invisibleSHIELD? Surprised you'd want that case if you did...

No not very bulky at all, it seems pretty easy to carry...sometimes gets stuck, and the invisishield I have just covers the front of my screen...case covers the rest.

Not a single scratch, but I do remove any dust or dirt or debris that could cause scratching between the case and the phone.

Does it come w/ anything to keep dirt out of the dock connector and/or headphone jack?

I got my iPhone on the first nite they were sold, from an Apple store here in Virginia. This rubber case was the only thing they had for a case. So I got it and really like it 'cause the iPhone's not slippery and everything works without removing the case. BUT....it's very boring and when people want to see my iPhone, they like the iPhone but say it's ugly and can't believe Apple would make something like this. I say...it's NOT an Apple product! Meanwhile, I've bought 2 other different cases and they are really cool. One is the Case-Mate: http://www.case-mate.com/phones/apple which is great protection from dropping, etc and isn't slippery and adds hardly any bulk at all, and is made from a feel-good quality leather. It's the best one i've found so far. The next one isn't for everybody. But I like it a lot and think it just adds more class to the already classy iPhone. Because they're "custom-made", it takes about 2 weeks to get. Mine should be here any day now. They're made from one of 7 beautiful woods that you pick out. They make the iPhone look like a piece of art and I'm really excited about getting mine. I picked the Padouk wood. Check them out and see for yourself. I'm curious what you think. http://www.miniot.com/miniot/index.htmBruce

For my money, I want something that is as absolutely thin and sleek as possible while still providing good protection. Otherwise, why did I buy a phone with a sleek form factor? So I can turn it into a bulky Treo in my pocket?
I haven't found anything that suits yet... so I'm just sticking with an invisibleSHIELD for now.

well,a case is just a case, as long as it can protect the iphone, it is ok. so i just got a simple plastic hard case for my iphone. it makes my iphone look a little different, this is enough!
