In all of the previews I've seen of the iPhone reacting to it's orientation sensors, I can't recall any during use of the keyboard.
I'd be interested to know this as well. It seems as if it'd be a no brainer to include this - but hey, what do I know?

i think it will, think about it, when you surf the web you can do it in landscape...what happens if you click the address bar when you are in landscape? do you think it will automatically turn portrait?

i think it will, think about it, when you surf the web you can do it in landscape...what happens if you click the address bar when you are in landscape? do you think it will automatically turn portrait?

Just weird that not one image, demo, etc etc has shown this. I'd bet on it not existing. |

Just weird that not one image, demo, etc etc has shown this. I'd bet on it not existing. Agreed. My guess would be that it doesn't, at this point. Which truly is shocking. Seems like a no brainer. The good thing is that it certainly seems like something that could be added via a software/firmware update. Even an OTA one. |

Yep. Still surprising they never showed this ahead of time.
Word is we'll get this for SMS, email, etc w/ the first update... not just for safari.

Thatd be great, it should just be a universal thing...whenever you've got a keyboard, it should be able to go horizontal.

mobius ... the difference is that the horiz kb is only available in safari... not for emails, text messages, etc etc |
