There're many questions asking how to backup, restore their itunes library when encoutering the computer crash, itunes files lost or replacing with a new computer or how to import itunes libray from other's computer.

There're some tools for achieving that. Below take Aniosoft iTunes backup tool as an example to share the step by step instruction about how to backup and restore itunes library.

First of all, Download Aniosoft iTunes backup tool free trial version 
here  , and then install it. Skip this step if already done.

Backup your iTunes libary

To create a new backup for your iTunes library, follow the following tutorial:
Step 1.  Open Aniosoft iTunes Backup.
Step 2.
  2.1. Click the "Backup" button on the skin
  2.2. Choose a backup name and input the name of the creator (optional) in the pop-up windows dialog.
  2.3. Change the backup type if you want, then "OK".


Step 3. It will automatically scan the iTunes library on your PC and start to backup.


Step 4.  You can view backup details with view button, or directly right click the backup folder in   the list box.
Step 5.  Finished! Enjoy your time!


Restore your iTunes library

Once  lose your songs in your iTunes, DON'T worry! Just do as following steps:
Step1.  Open Aniosoft iTunes Backup.
Step2.  Select a backup folder in the list box.
Step3.   Click the "Restore" button on the skin and "Yes" in the pop-up windows dialog. Then it will automatically restore iTunes backup.

* Make sure your current iTunes tracks and playlists properly backed up before you restore by reason that Aniosoft iTunes Backup will clear all tracks and playlists in the iTunes before restoration.
 
Step 4.  Restore finished! Your iTunes music come back again! Enjoy your time!
