Can anyone recommend a really high quality screen protector? I've used various brands over the last year or so for my Treo, and have been less than satisfied with each.
They've all been flexible with a light adhesive and an improvised squeegee tool for smoothing out air bubbles.
All look less than stellar. With the iPhone's screen, I definitely want something to be crystal clear. Basically, I don't want to know it's there. I'm willing to pay a little more if something like this is out there.
Has anyone had any good experiences w/ screen protectors?

I'd love an answer to this as well. I'm currently using Fellowes on my Blackjack and boy do they stink.

www.shieldzone.comthose are the BEST screen protectors. I've gotten them for my PSP, iPod nano (no scratches whatsoever), both my RAZR and KRZR. They are currently taking pre-orders. They last forever, and if something were to happen, its free replacement for life.

Can't wait to try these. In fact, I'm going to order for my Blackjack now. Can't take this horrible one that is on there currently for another minute.

Wow, these really do look impressive.
Timmy - for non-flip devices... have you purchased the full body protectors or just the front protectors? I'd love to get the full body if they are really as nice as they look.

I got the full body for my nano and as long as you are patient and give yourself time to put it on correctly then they turn out great. My friends always ask how come mine isn't scratched and then I tell them there is a protector on it and then they can see its on there. It comes in a pack with the protector and a type of spray. It's not adhesive but you spray the protector and then put it on your device. It makes it 100x easier to get air bubbles out and the slight moisture has no effect on the device. Just wanted to tell you about the spray so when you get it you don't get all nervous about moisture being near your device...just turn it off and don't turn it back on until its dry, thats the easiest way. Any more questions just ask!!

Does anything that comes with the protector state that if the spray damages the device they'll take responsibility?

Sounds safe enough then, I guess.
I'm more concerned about the spray damaging any glossy finish on the LCD, rather than moisture wreaking havoc with the electronics.

I think its more or less water, just to get bubbles out. I bought one for my Nano when they first came out, and they didn't give you spray. You had to dip and rub the protector in a bucket of soapy water then drip it off until it was moist then apply and squeeze out bubbles...its still holding very tight to the nano and I don't plan on taking it off.

Certainly sounds promising, then. I think I'll buy one for my existing phone to see how I like them.

I preordered the iPhone front shield, and they said it'd be shipped aprox. 2 days after they release, which is pretty good. And they said if the screen affects the touchscreen functions, you can take it off and they will refund. These people really know customer service.

My understanding is the front shield is shipping now. Only the full body waits for June 2.

I ordered the front protector and they didn't say it wasn't shipping right away. I'll let you know if it arrives.
