Sounds about what I expected.

I'm assuming we'll get official word on this soon, instead of insider speculation.

$60 for unlimited data?  Even if this is before taxes it sounds like a great deal!  I end up paying over $60 for my Verizon service right now (450 peak minutes/no data/500 sms/asurion).  Contract not over until March 2008...  Sad

I'm guessing you could get around the 200 sms limit without spending a dime by sending emails to people's phones.

I do not consider $60 for unlimited EGPRS (EDGE) to be any deal at all! You can get unlimited 3G from Cingular/at&t for that, which you obviously will NOT get from the iPhone!

For EDGE access I am paying $20 on one device and $29.99 on the other for unlimited data (that is internet, email, sms, and also the built in AIM, Yahoo, MSN messengers)

Well see, you're just paying it as a VOICEPLAN really.
With Tmo I get it for $29.99 period.
