Has anyone purchased Roxio Crunch yet?

I haven't used Toast or Popcorn 2 in a while, but enjoyed using them both. Though I know they've "dumbed down" the functionality for Crunch, I'm interested to hear how users familiar with the other software feel about Crunch.

Or just opinions in general, all are welcome.

I'm also curious about the software. Can it take copyrighted DVD's and such and convert them to iPhone format? If not, is there any (illegal if necessary) software to do this with?

I doubt it can do copyrighted DVDs, but there's probably an intemediate step you can take to RIP the DVD then use Crunch to get it on the iPhone.

they are definitly no ipod, the simplicity and fluidness of a clickwheel just isn't there. i think the wifi a song to a friend thing is the gayest attempt to sell the thing. the screen isn't that nice, and its THICK

Any the WiFi to a friend thing is DRM music, isn't it? So the friend has like 3 days to listen to it before buying it? That's what I heard at least...

I think it's three days OR three times playing before it goes kaput.
