I've got 3 Mac G-4's with OS 10.3.9 (2 at home, 1 at work)  Couldn't believe I had to activate my phone using a PC, and not one of my older Macs.  I've dowloaded the newest version of itunes and all I get is an error message that iphones aren't supported on OS 10.3.9.  Sounds like Apple wants me to buy a new computer to work with my iphone.  Very frustrating. Any logical explaination?

Doesn't sound like they want you to buy a new PC, but it does sound like they want you to upgrade your OS.

10.3.9 is Panther, right?

Might there not even be a free upgrade for you at this point?
