Whenever you are getting ready to travel abroad you have to figure out what the best option is for staying in touch with family and friends back home. You might choose to only communicate while on Wi-Fi at your hotel, where you can likely send messages and make Wi-Fi calls for free. Though if you want to message and post to social media, navigate around town and have access to the internet while you are out and about, then you definitely want a data plan of some sort.

Facebook has added the ability to unsend messages in its Messenger app. Users now have up to 10 minutes to delete any text, group chats, photos, videos and links sent through the app. The "Remove" button allows users to fix mistakes or to delete messages sent by accident. Facebook will retain a copy of all deleted messages for an unspecified amount of time. Deleted messages will still be held accountable for policy violations to combat harassment. Deleted messages will also leave a "tombstone" to notify all users in a chat that a message has been deleted.

Uber announced Uber Rewards on November 14, 2018. At the time of this post, the loyalty program is only available in 9 cities: Miami, New Jersey, Denver, Tampa, New York, Washington, DC, Philadelphia, Atlanta and San Diego. Uber plans to roll out Uber Rewards to all U.S. riders in the "next few months." Uber riders interested in joining the program can sign up for the wait list here.
