How do I disable audio text messages on my iPhone?

Apple added the ability to send audio/voice text messages in iOS 8.0. This is great feature for many reasons, but it is also very easy to send an audio recording by accident. Unfortunately there is no way to disable this feature without a jailbroken device. iPhone owners who are jailbroken can use the tweak NoAudioRecorder to disable this feature. The tweak is available on Cydia for free.

Organize the Messages app with a group conversations tab

tweak groupme

The jailbreak tweak GroupMe helps to reorganize the Messages app on iOS devices. Normally group texts and group iMessage conversations are listed in the same place as messages sent directly to one person. While this isn't a major problem, it can lead to confusion and slow down the message sending process. GroupMe avoids this mess entirely by adding two tabs to the bottom of the stock Messages app. With GroupMe installed, message threads are separated by type.

How do I add a signature to my iPhone emails?

Having an email signature is common practice for many, especially for work emails. A signature is simply a block of information that is added to the end of your email that includes your name and other info such as title, phone number, company name, address, email, etc. The default iPhone signature is "Sent from my iPhone," which you'll probably want to change - especially if you work from home and don't want your boss wondering why you are responding with your iPhone instead of your computer. If you want to change your signature, here's how:

How to Add Trash as a Swipe Option for Mail (You Want This)

If you haven't set up swipe options for your Mail app on your iPhone or iPad (with iOS 8) or if, like me, the recent upgrade to iOS 8.3 returned them to default, then you definitely want to set them up again. Adding "Trash" in particular is, well, I don't know how I managed email on my iPhone before I had it. With it, you can send unwanted emails directly from your inbox to the netherworld with a mere flick of your finger. Unfortunately, it is not at all obvious how to set it as a swipe option. If you haven't done it before or you need a refresher, here's how:

For setting swipe left as trash

1. Head to Settings -> Mail, Contacts, Calendar and choose the email account you want to set it up on (likely you want it on all of your accounts so you'll have to do this on each).
