Apple has added several new face coverings, hair and headwear styles to Memojis in iOS 14. The new features are to help iPhone and iPad users to reflect a variety of different religions, hobby, profession, and personalities. New features are continually developed for the secure messaging service Signal. The app is knows for its focus on privacy, with end-to-end encryption powered by the open source Signal Protocol. Every message and call is protected from view, except on the intended receiver's device. Android users have had a built-in backup feature for some time.

Stickers are a fun way to interact with iMessage on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. A wide variety of apps deliver their own sticker packs, and unique stickers can be purchased in the App Store. Personalized memoji stickers can also be created, and sent to others in a message thread. When there are many stickers in a group message, things can get confusing fast.
