Donald Trump Tells Apple to Make a Bigger iPhone

Donald Trump thinks Apple is making a big mistake by not releasing a larger iPhone. The Celebrity Apprentice host publicly warned Tim Cook, that Apple would lose a lot of money if the company does not release a new device that is "slightly larger than the Samsung screen". Trump did not specify what Samsung device he is talking about, but the recently launched Galaxy S4 features a 5-inch Full HD display.

Apple iPhone Phablet

Many analysts and Asian suppliers agree with Trump, and think Apple is missing out on a huge chunk of change by not releasing a larger device. However, Tim Cook has said Apple would never compromise screen quality for the sake of releasing a phablet-sized device.

"We always strive to create the very best display," said Cook in a recent conference call with analysts. "Some customers value large screen size. Others value other factors such as resolution, color quality, white balance, reflectivity, power consumption, compatibility of apps, portability."

"Our competitors have made some significant tradeoffs in many of these areas to ship a larger display. We would not ship a larger display iPhone while these tradeoffs exist."

More facts have been added including actor heights in the personal details section, and worldwide movie release dates. The developers of IMDb have also made things more visually appealing for iPhone owners, with a fresh new page look for movies and celebrities in the app. Speaking of which, IMDb now clocks over 5 million people and 2.5 million titles in the catalog.

How to Block Mature Content on Your iPhone

Apple has a strict no adult content policy for the App Store, but the recent increase of social sharing services is making it impossible for the company to police every app available for iOS devices. Apple recently pulled the popular photo-sharing app 500px because users were able to access nude images. The app was eventually allowed back into the App Store, but its removal prompted Apple to makes its App Store age ratings more visible to users. Some apps like the video sharing service Vine, have also been slapped with a 17+ rating due to people uploading adult content to their profiles. Luckily for parents there is a way to block children from downloading mature rated content, however, parents should still monitor what their children are doing with their mobile devices.

iPhone Restrictions

For example, Snapchat allows users to send pictures and texts that are deleted within seconds after being seen. The app has been criticized for misleading kids into thinking it's safe to send compromising photos because they will eventually disappear. However, anyone who knows how to take a screenshot can easily save an image sent to them through the app. Snapchat does alert the sender if a screenshot has been taken, but by that point the damage has already been done.
