Using the personal Wi-Fi hotspot on your Verizon iPhone will cost an additional $20 per month on top of your existing data plan. This will set up a separate 2 GB data cap that applies only to your personal hotspot. Any data usage over this limit within one month is charged at $20 per gigabyte.

The unlimited data plan on the iPhone 4 encompasses all other data usage on the device outside of the personal hotspot. This data plan is required for iPhone users and runs $29.99 per month.
