I'm not a fan of iPhone cases, not until I finally broke a phone after going caseless since the iPhone 4s. After paying to repair my device I finally caved and purchased a screen protector. I didn't go full case because I hate bulky stuff in my pocket, and no matter how thin a case may be, it adds mass to your phone. I finally decided to give the Nomad Active Rugged Case a spin after purchasing a new iPhone 11. The phone is just too nice to risk damage and I wanted to keep my nice sea green casing free from scratches.

If you recently purchased one of Apple's new iPhone 11 models, or any other model for that matter, you really should protect it with a quality case. Even if you don't mind a few scratches and dings, you are going to want to protect your investment's resale/trade-in value, which will come into play the next time you want to upgrade your phone, considering how expensive they are these days.

iPhones in recent years have gotten quite big, including the iPhone 11 series. Adding a case makes them even bigger and/or bulkier, but at their hefty prices you definitely want to protect your investment from scratches, dents and cracked screens, if not for your own satisfaction, then at least to hold resale value. So if you are going to add some more bulk to your iPhone, why not lose some elsewhere by getting rid of your wallet? If you typically get by just carrying plastic or a little bit of cash, there are plenty of iPhone cases that double as wallets.

The new iPhone lineup ranges in price from $700 for a base level iPhone 11 to a whopping $1450 for a fully loaded iPhone 11 Pro. Whichever model you have, you are going to want to protect it from dings, scratches and dirt, if not for your own sensibilities, then for those of potential buyers when you are ready to upgrade.
