T-Mobile launched a promotion to deliver free Apple TV+ for one year to its customers. New and existing Magenta and Magenta MAX customers, Sprint Unlimited Plus, Sprint Premium, and other eligible plans qualify for the deal. 12 months of Apple TV+ for free begins starting on August 25, 2021.

IMDb TV is a completely free streaming video service with thousands of shows and movies available on demand. No paid subscription is needed to access the content, although it is ad supported. Parent company Amazon contends that there are half as many advertisements on IMDb TV as there are on live television.

Nintendo has stopped selling in-app diamonds for its puzzle game Dr. Mario World. The company announced that the app is officially discontinued and gameplay will cease functioning on November 1, 2021. On that date, the game will show players a notification before it shuts off forever.

Apple looks set to release a third generation iPhone SE early next year. The update will bring the company's A14 chip to the SE, matching the current flagship iPhone 12. Not only this, but the iPhone SE 2022 is expected to support 5G service. Apple debuted 5G wireless on the iPhone 12 last fall.

Apple now offers its official MagSafe Battery Pack for the iPhone 12. The accessory clicks onto the magnetic back of the iPhone and provides extra power, much like the earlier Smart Battery Case. When connected, the MagSafe battery delivers information via the iOS Battery widget.
