Call Delete not only makes it possible to delete individual recent calls, but the tweak adds a variety of features and functionality to the iPhone recent call list. iOS 5 will implement individual call deleting when it's released this fall, but iPhone owners with jailbroken devices can install this functionality now thanks to Cydia and developer IArrays.
To find Call Delete, open Cydia and navigate to Sections -> Tweaks -> Call Delete or find the software using the Search function. Tap the Install button and Confirm to download the package. Before you can use Call Delete, you must pay IArrays $1.29 for a license via debit or credit card on PayPal. Open the Phone app and select Recents. When the Call Delete dialog box appears tap Buy Now.
This will open Safari directly to the payment page for Call Delete at PayPal and an invoice will appear for $1.29. Once the license is paid, you can use the Activate option to use the tweak. To enable the features of this package you must select Settings -> Call Delete -> Enable Call Delete -> ON.
Turning ON the Show Edit Button option will show an Edit button in the upper left hand corner of the Recents call list. Tapping this button makes it possible to delete one or multiple calls. If Enable Swipe Delete is ON you can swipe on an individual call to delete the record. In addition to deleting individual calls, Call Delete has some useful features such as Show Contact Image, which when ON puts a small thumbnail of the contact's picture next to the recent call. Duration of phone calls and the number of missed or dialed calls can also be displayed, giving the user more information directly in the Recents section of the Phone app. It remains to be seen if Apple will include these additional features in its iOS 5 implementation of individual call deleting.
