Avenged Sevenfold has announced today that their upcoming action adventure game, Hail to the King: Deathbat, is coming soon to mobile devices. The game is being developed by Subscience Studios and is inspired by "classic dungeon crawlers," according to the press release.

Hail to the King: Deathbat is a companion title to Avenged Sevenfold's Machinima video series.

“We’ve been fans of games since we were kids, and we thought it would be fun to create one of our own inspired by our favorites," explained M. Shadows, lead singer of Avenged Sevenfold. "There are so many cool and innovative indie games being developed today, and we realized we could design and build the kind of game we'd love to play on our own. It is coming together amazingly well, and we can’t wait to share it."

This all lead to pod2g announcing on Twitter today, that the evad3rs had decided to "remotely disable the default installation of TaiG in China for further investigations on the piracy issue."

The team that launched evasi0n 7 to jailbreak iOS 7 devices has penned an open letter to address rumors and speculation circulating around the jailbreak community. The main controversy erupted thanks to evasi0n 7 replacing Cydia with the Chinese app store TaiG in China. The store has subsequently been pulled from evasi0n due to allegations of app piracy.

The full letter from the evad3rs explains that a deal was made with TaiG to simply bundle the app store with evasi0n in China. No jailbreak exploits were shared with the company, and as part of the agreement TaiG is contractually bound to not have piracy in their store. Additionally, users in China who jailbreak their devices are not locked into using TaiG if they prefer an alternative like Cydia.
