Apple is again receiving accolades for it products, in this case from TIME magazine. The recently launched iPhone X was included on two best of 2017 lists, with the Apple Watch Series 3 joining the party. When it comes to the top 10 gadgets of the year, the iPhone X took second place behind the Nintendo Switch. Apple Watch Series 3 landed in ninth place, thanks to its LTE support.

On Sunday Nintendo of America tweeted and official release date for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. The game was originally expected to be released in March, but it was delayed until later in the year. Nintendo instead released Fire Emblem Heroes in February, making Animal Crossing its third iOS title, not counting Miitomo.

The iPhone X, Apple TV 4K and the latest iPad Pro models all support high dynamic range (HDR) video. Vimeo automatically detects HDR content and displays it on devices that support HDR playback.

Apple fans looking to pick up a HomePod during the holiday season will have to wait a bit longer. While the device was originally slated for a December launch, Apple has told TechCrunch it needs more time to get the production process just right. The HomePod will start shipping in early 2018.

The App Store description describes A Boy and His Blob as a "reimagining of the NES classic," but the iOS version looks to be a port of the Wii version, which itself was a remake of A Boy and His Blob: Trouble on Blobolonia. A Boy and His Blob was originally released for the Nintendo Wii in 2009. It is is considered to be one of the better Wii titles, and it has now made its way to iOS devices.
