Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) stocks performed well last week, gaining about 3.8% after opening Monday at $125.57 and closing Friday at $130.28. At the time of this writing, share prices are about $132.70, which is approaching Apple's high of $133.60, which was reached during trading on February 24, earlier this year. Chances are that share value will surpass that high mark soon, as Apple is set to release its Q2 FY 15 earnings after the market closes today, 5:00 PM EDT, 2:00 PM PDT. Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) enthusiasts finally started receiving their orders of the highly anticipated Apple Watch last Friday, two weeks after the company started taking pre-orders for it. The watch is currently available for purchase online, but most models are backordered for several months. You won't find any at Apple's brick-and-mortar stores (though you can go in and try one on by appointment), but select high end boutiques in Europe, Asia and the U.S. have some of the more expensive models available for walk-in purchase.

The Apple Watch App Store officially went live on April 23, 2015. Users can now access the store from the Apple Watch app on their iPhone running iOS 8.2 or later. Of course this means tons of Apple Watch Apps were released on Thursday, so we will not be able to list them all, but we will start listing a few noteworthy Apple Watch apps in our App Store recap each week. Most Apple Watch games offer quick 10-15-second mini-games that you can play on the go, but Runeblade from Everywear Games is a fantasy adventure title that you can play for months. Runeblade is still played in 5-15-second bursts, but the it features RPG-elements where players can collect and upgrade weapons, armor, spells and so on.

The Watch is here, according to Apple's website, but the Watch isn't really available until June for those who weren't lucky or smart enough to pre-order it. The one good thing about waiting is it gives you time to order your Apple Watch accessories like screen protectors, Watch stands and charging docks. Today we will be looking at a few available cases and screen protectors for Apple's wearable device.
