Add Samsung's Smart Pause to Your iPhone

Two of the Samsung Galaxy S4's signature features are Smart Pause and Smart Scroll. Smart Pause automatically stops a video when a user looks away from their display, or puts the device down. This is a great feature when it works properly, and now iOS users can get in on the action.

FaceHalt Jailbreak Tweak

A new jailbreak tweak called FaceHalt will perform the same function as Samsung's Smart Pause on your iPhone or iPad. According to the official description, FaceHalt works with most video applications, except apps with custom implementations like VLC. It supports the fifth-generation iPod, iPhone 4S, 5, iPad 2, 3, 4 and mini. Support for the non-supported applications is also coming soon.

Minigore 2: Zombies Free for a Limited Time

Minigore 2: Zombies is free for a limited time to celebrate the franchise's fourth-anniversary. The popular zombie shooter features over 20 playable characters, 300 challenges and 60 different enemies with seven bosses. The game has received mostly favorable reviews from fans and critics, and it has been described and an" intense over-the-top bloodbath" by GameTrailers.

Minigore 2: Zombies

The original Minigore was released for iOS devices and the PSP Go in 2009. The sequel was released for both the iPhone and iPad in 2012. Both games follow the adventures of a character named John Gore, who is trying to survive in a world known as "Hardland." . In Minigore 2, players must help Gore defeat the legendary Metusalem's army of undead chefs, lumberjacks and penguins.

Fall can't come soon enough for Apple fans looking to upgrade to the iPhone 5S. Evidence continues to mount that Apple's budget iPhone, the iPhone 5C will launch alongside the 5S with a plastic back and different features. iPhone 5C accessories have already been spotted, as well as some questionable photos of iPhone 5C packaging.

iOS 7 Fixes Malicious Charger Hack

A group of researchers has demonstrated how to compromise an iOS device with a malicious charger at this year's Black Hat convention in Las Vegas. The malware injection is effortless and hides itself in the same way that Apple hides stock apps. According to Reuters, there is no need to worry since the threat will be neutralized by Apple in iOS 7.

Spokesman Tom Neumayr said the problem was fixed in the upcoming release of iOS 7 and Apple "would like to thank the researchers for their valuable input." The update will warn users with a pop up message whenever the iOS device is connected to a computer. This is important, because in the demo an innocent-looking USB charger was actually a small linux computer in disguise, loaded with malware.

Will Apple Produce an iPhone with Custom OLED?

There's been a lot of talk about how Apple can improve the iPhone display. Ultimately, the goal is a lighter, brighter, thinner screen that extents battery life. Rumors have been floating around for some time surrounding Sharp's IGZO, however the technology has failed to surface on an Apple product to date. Now thanks to a new patent filing the possibility of an OLED (organic light-emitting diode) display has resurfaced.

Although Samsung, among others, has already embraced the OLED thanks to its thin profile and power-sipping nature, it seems Apple plans to customize and improve on the technology before adding OLED to the iPhone. In the patent, Apple describes photodiode sensors embedded throughout the OLED display, which would serve to improve its function dynamically.
