Apple bumps up tvOS app size limit

Developers can now offer app bundles up to 4 GB in size for Apple TV owners. Until Apple announced the change on its developer site, initial app downloads were limited to 200 MB. The change in policy means tvOS app binaries are now covered under the same 4 GB limit allowed for iOS apps. So what will this really mean to Apple TV fans who use the App Store?

Apple will continue to improve the water and dust proofing on the next generation iPhone. This is according to a report in The Korea Herald, which highlighted the change as one of several "drastic upgrades marking the 10th anniversary" of the iPhone. Current iPhone 7 models are the first smartphones produced by Apple to carry an IP67 rating, keeping dust and water out of sensitive components inside.

The popular collage maker and photo editor, PhotoGrid, has been updated to version 6.0. The major update adds several new features, including rolling comments and a new personalized feed. Users can now view rolling comments in the corner of every image shared within the app. This not only makes the sharing experience in PhotoGrid "more alive and interactive," but it also provides each image with itsr own unique story, according to the apps developer, KS Mobile.

Armor Games has released a "reimagined" version of Sonny to the Apple App Store. Sonny is an RPG created by Armor Games developer Krin in 2007. The game follows Sonny, a zombie who has risen from the grave with his mind intact but memories missing. The iOS version is a remix of the original Flash-based games with a new story and updated features.
