How important is food income on a Mobile Strike base? Each city has its own upkeep cost for food, and when there are many troops to support this can quickly become negative.
When food resources are being depleted faster than farms can produce new food, the food count flashes red. A high upkeep with low food income means food will be depleted. Does it matter if the amount of food drops to zero?
No. Troops will not die after food resources hit zero. However, any activities that require food (training troops, building construction) can't happen until food is replenished.
