The iPhone 6s and 6s Plus are supposed to begin shipping on Friday, September 25, but some New York City residents may have to wait until Saturday to receive their handset. Controversial blogger Sam Biddle shared an alleged email from Apple on Twitter informing him that the delivery of his iPhone 6s may be delayed until Saturday.
According to rumors Tim Cook and team has a lot planned for Apple fans during its upcoming September 9th media event at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, CA. Not only is Apple going to unveil its new iPhone 6s, but the company is expected to announce its redesigned Apple TV and new Apple Watch Sport band colors, according to 9to5Mac.
The Apple Watch has barely hit shelves in retail stores and reports on the next generation hardware have already surfaced. Sources have told 9to5Mac that Apple is working on the Apple Watch 2, and several improvements are in the pipeline. There have been a lot of iOS 9 leaks over the last few days. So far we have learned that the new iOS will allegedly support older devices such as the iPhone 4s, add a new "Home" app for HomeKit intergration and finally bring transit directions to the Maps app. 9to5Mac sources have also confirmed today that the rumored iPhone 6s will feature the same Force Touch technology as the Apple Watch, MacBooks and MacBook Pros.

There hasn't been a lot of talk about Apple's home automation platform, HomeKit, mostly because there have been lots of other products to keep Apple fans busy. The Siri-controlled feature was originally announced during last year's Worldwide Developer Conference, but not many details were revealed. Rumors suggested that the platform would launch in May or June, but now sources have told Fortune that the release has been pushed back until to late August or September.
