How do I upload images or video from my iPhone to my Samsung Chromebook?

How do I upload images or video from my iPhone to my Samsung Chromebook?

You can transfer images or video from your iOS device to your Samasung Chromebook (XE303C12) by using the Google Drive or Google+ iOS apps. The apps allow you to store your images or video in your cloud storage, which you can then access from your Chromebook. You can then download the stored images to your Chromebook by right clicking (click the touchpad with two fingers) on an image and selecting "Save as".

UPDATE (12/4/13) Google has added a Google+ photo syncing feature to Chrome which now allows you to sync your iPhone to your Chromebook. Just tap the icon of dots on the bottom left hand of your screen and navigate to Google+ Photos. Your Chromebook should recognize your iPhone and allow you to upload all the images on your Photo app to your Google+ account. You can then download the images to your Chromebook after the upload is complete.

Update very helpful except is it just me or does everyone's pics take HOURS to upload? It's taken about NINE hours to upload a mere 300 pics or almost 5 gigs of pics.

I plugged my iPhone in, and it recognized my device, but nothing happened. Do I need to do something else?

It should upload all your images to your Google+ account. https://www.iphonefaq.org/archives/google-chromebook

Did you try checking the files to see if your Iphone was there?

i know this is really late but you can go to your files and then open them and on the left hand side you should see a folder that says iPhone or something like that.

They include business features like extra portability, increased battery life, presentation help, etc.
This greatly improves its ergonomics, since they fit better with the fingertips, thus ensuring a better
contact and therefore a more agile and precise typing.
Make sure that you do the following, to avoid serious consequences when storing a Lenovo battery:.

Getting more done in less time can happen with this Lenovo laptop G560 59-055709.
Image quality is another of the Lenovo's weak points.

Does anyone else hate their Chromebook? I have had mine three years and have never learned to use it. I don't understand any of the tutorials I read - for instance, when trying to determine how to load photos from my iPhone to my Chromebook, instructions say 'click on three dots in the corner of the screen after plugging phone into the Chromebook.' I plugged it in - don't see dots - which screen?? iPhone or Chromebook? Where on the Chromebook if there; where on the iPhone if there???
I can't figure out how to manage my files, how to change drives - how do I get to the jumpdrive I plugged in?? It disappeared from my files when I clicked 'cancel' when prompted whether I wanted to format the device and delete anything that might be on the device. I wanted to check to see if there were any files on it I needed - but it disappeared altogether!!!
Is there a place I can go to to figure out how to use this thing? It has definitely been the worst technology investment I have ever made!

I love my chromebook, no virus, malware and I can edit videos, photos, do wordprocessing. If I want to download a lot of photos, I go to my public library where they have high speed internet and it is free to us.

I am having the same problem! Apparently users are supposed to help users. The problem is that while the users mean well, our educational system has/is not teaching them to write well. They don't realize, for example, that twitter only communicates because comments are always in context and they have come to believe that 150 characters or so is the right way to communicate in ll cases.

I love mine but I hear you on the 3 dots. What 3 dots? Where?
