CNN takes a hit on the App Store after Trump tweet causes controversy

Politics has spilled over to the App Store after President Donald Trump tweeted a GIF created by Reddit user "HanA**holeSolo." The GIF, originally posted to Reddit, depicted Trump pummeling a wrestler with CNN's logo pasted over his face. The GIF was later transformed into a video and tweeted by Trump causing an uproar on social media.

CNN eventually tracked down the user who apologized after it was discovered that he had also made previous posts containing racist and anti-Semitic imagery.

At $900 retail, the second option represents a significant cost savings and the unit can be installed in almost any vehicle. Alpine is the first to offer an aftermarket CarPlay solution with wireless support.

Apple celebrates National Parks in July

Apple has launched a celebration of U.S. National Parks from July 1st to July 15th. According to the Apple newsroom, the company will donate one dollar to the National Park Foundation for every purchase made with Apple Pay. The pledge applies to transactions made on the Apple Store app, the Apple online store and Apple retail stores.

Two canceled television series have been revived as mobile games on the App Store. Desperate Housewives: The Game and Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow are now available for iOS devices. While this is the first mobile title for the women of Wisteria Lane, this is the second Futurama game launched for the iPhone and iPad. Futurama: Game of Drones by developer wooga, being the first.
