Apple sent an email to customers letting them know that the iPhone 5s will be available through its online store at 12:01 a.m. PST on September 20, 2013. iOS fans will also be able to pick up the next-generation handset at their local Apple store at 8 a.m. on the same day.
The iPhone 5s will be available in silver, gold, and space gray for $199 (16GB), $299 (32GB) and $399 (64GB) with a two year contract from AT&T, Verizon Wireless or Sprint. T-mobile customers will be able to nab the 16GB model for $99 down via Apple.com or T-Mobile.com.
If you do not want to wait for your iPhone in the mail, but want to avoid standing in line, you can try Walmart or your carrier's local brick and mortar location. The 16GB iPhone 5s is $10 cheaper at Walmart, but stock will probably be limited. Carrier locations are also known to carry limited stock on launch day, so make sure you call ahead before you waste your time.
