What processor does the iPhone 6s have?

The iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are powered by the new, speedier A9 system-on-a-chip (SOC). The 64-bit A9 SOC uses new transistor architecture to optimize daily processing tasks. The M9 motion processor is embedded in the main chip and always switched on.

The iPhone 6s is much faster than the iPhone 6, which utilizes the previous A8 processor.
