The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are listed at 0.28 inch (7.1 mm) and 0.29 inch (7.3 mm) thick, respectively. This is the same size as their predecessors the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, and slightly thicker than the previous iPhone 6 models. The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus models were actually thinner at at 0.27 and 0.28 inches.

September 7th is only a week away, but this hasn't stopped a fast and furious torrent of iPhone 7 rumors and leaks. The latest reports touch on cosmetics, storage space, and more. Apple's next generation iPhone is not expected to be a radical departure from the current model. But this doesn't mean the company has no surprises waiting in the wings. The past few days have confirmed several tidbits coming in the official announcement next week.

The wait is almost over. Apple has made September 7th official with an email invitation to the media. On this particular Wednesday, the company is expected to reveal several new products. The event is scheduled to take place at the Bill Graham Civic Center in San Francisco at 10 am Pacific. The bokeh effect seen in the invite image has led some to speculate that the event will focus heavily on the dual-lens camera featured in the iPhone 7 Plus.
The iPhone 7 Plus sports a 5.5-inch Retina HD display with 1920-by-1080-pixel resolution at 401 ppi.
The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are equipped with 12MP rear-facing cameras with ƒ/1.8 aperture and a 7-megapixel FaceTime HD Camera. These cameras are capable of recording 4K video at 30 fps, 1080p HD video at 30 fps or 60 fps and 720p HD video at 30 fps. 8MP stills can be captured while 4K video recording is in progress.
