At a special event held today at the Howard Gilman Opera House in New York City, Apple announced new 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models with edge-to-edge "Liquid Retina displays," a boosted Mac mini, a new MacBook Air, an updated Apple Pencil with wireless charging, but no AirPower charging mat. Apple fans have been waiting for the AirPower to be released since Apple previewed the device more than a year ago.

Candies 'n Curses is a "spooky sugar-coated platformer" where you play as the adventurous Molli Pop. The game begins with a long opening that introduces Molly and explains her motivation, a dare from friends, for investigating her town's alleged haunted house. Upon entering, Molly gets locked in the house where she meets the ghostly butler who asks her to clean up some of the bad ghosts with her flashlight. Molly must survive 6 different regions of the Phantom King's mansion while taking out ghosts, skeletons and other spooky things.

Sonos today announced its collaboration with the Beastie Boys to release a "strictly limited" Play:5 Beastie Boys Edition speaker. The speaker and accessory company has teamed up with Adam “Ad-Rock” Horovitz, Michael “Mike D” Diamond, and San Francisco-based artist, Barry McGee to release the limited edition Sonos speaker with all proceeds going to charity. The Play:5 Beastie Boys Edition features a white speaker face with a design by artist Barry McGee.

Apple has sent invitations for its second splash media event of fall 2018. On the day before Halloween, Apple will reveal new products at the Howard Gilman Opera House in New York. The keynote is described in the invitations with the tagline "There's more in the making". So what's in the pipeline after this year's launch of the iPhone XS and Apple Watch Series 4?

Crush the Castle is the original free flash game where players smash different fortresses using the medieval trebuchet. The goal of the game is to kill all the inhabitants of each level using the designated amount of shots. Players can unlock different projectiles with new capabilities as they advance through new kingdoms, and build their own castles for other players to destroy.
