What do I do if forgot the answers to my Apple ID security questions?
Apple ID security questions help ensure that you're the only person who can access your own account, but they can be a major problem if you forgot the answers to any of the questions. Luckily you can reset your security questions if you have a "rescue email" setup. If you don't have a rescue email you will need to contact Apple Support for help.
- Sign in to the Apple ID page using your Apple ID and password.
- Click the Change Questions... option in the Security section.
- After you click the Change Questions option you will be asked to "Answer your security questions." Just click Reset your security questions option underneath the two security questions and Apple will email you at your rescue email.
- Follow the instructions in the support email to create new security questions and answers.
