Users can easily check iCloud storage under iOS Settings. Usage is broken down into categories, showing exactly how much space is used by each item. iPhone owners have noticed a strange item named "TextInput" with no icon appearing in the iCloud storage list. Where does TextInput come from? What does TextInput do?
TextInput is a normal part of the iOS operating system. Small amounts of data are written by the iOS keyboard to TextInput on iCloud to be accessed by devices that are logged into your Apple ID.
