Apple launched an entirely new Liquid Retina LCD display on the iPhone XR. Does this screen have 3D Touch for deep press gestures?
No, the iPhone XR does not have 3D Touch. Users can still access the same deep touch features by tapping and holding on the screen. The replacement for 3D Touch is dubbed Haptic Touch, which is similar to MacBook Pro trackpad Force Touch. A long press on the Liquid Retina display will provide haptic feedback much like 3D Touch.
