How do I cancel my Apple TV Plus subscription?

Unlike a lot of companies that make it difficult to unsubscribe to their services, canceling any recurring subscription on your iPod touch, iPhone, iPad, Mac/PC or Apple TV is easy.

Apple TV+ is Apple's streaming service that offers original shows and movies. It charges a monthly rate of $4.99 to the credit card attached to your Apple ID. Here's how to cancel your Apple TV Plus subscription on your iPod touch, iPhone, iPad, Mac/PC or Apple TV. This also works for Apple Music, Apple News+, and any in-app subscriptions for content or services (HBO NOW, Spotify, Pandora, Hulu, etc.).

iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

  1. Open the Settings app on your device.
  2. Tap your name.
  3. Tap iTunes & App Store.
  4. Tap your Apple ID at the top in blue.
  5. Tap View Apple ID. Sign in with your Apple ID if necessary.
  6. Tap Subscriptions.
  7. Select the subscription you want to manage (Apple TV+).
  8. Use the options to manage your subscription.

Mac

  1. On your Mac, open the App Store app.
  2. Click your Apple ID at the bottom of the sidebar.
  3. Click the blue person icon (View Information) at the top of your window.
  4. Scroll to the Manage section, then to the right of Subscriptions, click Manage.
  5. Click Edit, next to the subscription you want to manage (Apple TV+).
  6. Use the options to manage your subscription.

PC

  1. On your PC/laptop, open iTunes.
  2. Choose Account > View My Account from the top toolbar.
  3. Sign in with your Apple ID.
  4. Click View Account.
  5. Scroll to the Manage section, then to the right of Subscriptions, click Manage.
  6. Click Edit, next to the subscription you want to manage (Apple TV+).
  7. Use the options to manage your subscription.

Apple TV (For 4th generation and later. 3rd generation and earlier must manage subscriptions on an iOS device)

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Select Accounts.
  3. Select Manage Subscriptions from the Subscriptions options.
  4. Choose the subscription that you want to manage (Apple TV+).
  5. Use the options to manage your subscription.
