All month long we've been looking at the best Halloween updates and apps, and today Niantic Labs has announced their own candy-themed event for its popular title, Pokémon GO. Starting on October 26th, Pokémon GO players will earn double the amount of Candy every time they catch, hatch and transfer Pokémon. The first Pokémon GO in-game event will end on November 1st.

iPhone owners looking to downgrade from iOS 10 to the previous version (iOS 9.3.5) are out of luck. This week, Apple stopped signing the latest iOS 9 firmware. This means that downgrading to the earlier operating system is not possible. At this time, the only versions of iOS that can be installed are iOS 10.0.2 and 10.0.3. Apple released iOS 10.0.3 exclusively for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. For all other iPhones iOS 10.0.2 remains the current version.

We previously reported that Five Nights at Freddy's developer, Scott Cawthon, decided to delay the release to his spin-off Sister Location due to the game being too mature. After receiving too much criticism for not releasing the game in time for Halloween, Cawthon decided to release a "mature" version in "sections."

The mature version is not officially part of the Five Nights canon, and it is not recommended to fans of the series who enjoy following the story of the franchise.

Apple sends invites for 'Hello Again' MacBook event

One week from today Apple will reveal its latest Macs during an invitation-only event in Cupertino. MacBook Pro updates have been highly anticipated this year, with several improvements in the pipeline. The "Hello Again" press event is scheduled for Thursday October 27, with the invitation harking back to 1984's original Mac introduction "Hello". The event marks the first major design changes to the MacBook Pro line since 2012. So what can we expect?
