Is Apple working on an iPhone stylus?

There have been a few signs that Apple is working on launching a smaller stylus for the iPhone. Apple released the original Apple Pencil for the iPad Pro in 2015. As of right now the stylus only supports Apple's Pro lineup of tablets, but three patent applications for an iPhone version of the Pencil have been recently spotted by Patently Apple.

The latest filing includes illustrations featuring only an iPhone, and focuses on tracking tip wear to prevent screen damage.

Apple's fall event has been all but confirmed for September 12. With so many new products on the horizon, leaks have been coming fast and furiously. While most of these point to the upcoming 10th-anniversary iPhone 8, there are still two additional iPhones launching next month. Now sources have told TechnoBuffalo the iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus will have different dimensions than the current iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.

Donate to Hurricane Harvey relief with iTunes

Apple has opened donations directly through iTunes to help with Hurricane Harvey relief efforts. The storm hit Texas as a category 4 cyclone, causing catastrophic flooding in Houston. The floods are expected to get worse as rain totaling up to three feet is forecast to blanket the area through Wednesday. Those with an Apple ID can easily send donations to the American Red Cross using iTunes, the App Store or Apple's online store.
