Google+ Now Supports Google Drive and Hangouts

Google has rolled out the same new features to the iOS version of its Google+ app that Android users have been enjoying for a few days now. Google+ version 4.5 now allows users to access their photos and videos stored on Google Drive, and Messenger has been replaced with Hangouts. Google Apps for Business features are now supported, and the ability to start a Hangout with someone directly from that person's profile has also been added to the app.

Plants vs. Zombies 2 Available for iOS Tomorrow

After almost being delayed for a month, the long awaited sequel to the popular Plants vs. Zombies iOS game will be available tomorrow. Plants vs. Zombies 2: It’s About Time is the first official sequel since the original game was released in 2009. That's unless you count the few spin-offs like the Facebook game Plants vs. Zombies Adventures.

Plants vs. Zombies 2

The release of the sequel is so highly anticipated that the App Store posted a teaser image to its Facebook page alongside a message that reads: "It's about time. Guess what game is coming tomorrow?"

Allen Murray, Senior Producer for Plants vs. Zombies 2 promised fans that the game would feature plenty of new content and a entirely new gaming experience. However, some are worried about the game's freemium status. This means the game will be free to download, but it will most likely require some in-app purchases to be able to enjoy the full experience.

iPhone 5C Video Shows Details of Plastic Shell

The iPhone 5C plastic shell has already been leaked in a rainbow of colors and from many different angles. Apple is expected to reveal the new, less expensive iPhone on September 10, but this hasn't stopped Sonny Dickson from showcasing the latest design. The video below not only shows the rear shell of the iPhone 5C in detail, it compares its form factor to existing iPhones.

Close up views of both the inside and outside of the part show an iPhone 5C with similar dimensions to the iPhone 5. In fact, the budget iPhone may share many of the same internal components as the current model iPhone, while the iPhone 5S is slated to receive upgrades. Development of the iPhone 5C could mean that Apple will stop selling older model iPhones at a reduced price, and almost certainly points to the end of iPhone 4 production.

iPhone 5S Back Panel Shows Home Button Update

Anyone looking for evidence of changes to the internal design of the next iPhone has been busy lately. Several leaks in recent days have piled on proof of a dual LED flash, sapphire home button, and a gold iPhone 5S in the works. Now Nowhereelse.fr shows off the back panel of the iPhone 5S with several updates over the current model iPhone.

iPhone 5S backplate

Most interesting are the changes centering around the home button, which can be clearly seen in the photo above. Assuming the part is the real deal, Apple has changed the shape of the home button backplate, also moving the mounting point down on one side. The new part could possibly be designed to retain a fingerprint sensor, and reports have indicated the iPhone 5S will feature a convex sapphire home button.
