How can I dial an international number on the iPhone?

Manually dialing an international number on the iPhone requires the "+" symbol before the country code, which is the first digit entered.

To add "+" when using the Phone Keypad to dial manually, press and hold the 0 (zero) button until the "+" appears. Now you can enter the country code and phone number.

wtf why? i had thought iphones just couldn't do international calls. they make smart phones and i like them but apple are f-cking idiots for doing this.

Or you could have just been a spastic and checked to find out the things you don't know
