The iPad Pro is a reality. With a 12.9-inch oxide TFT display and a resolution of 2732 x 2048 pixels, the iOS software keyboard will appear full sized. A 64-bit A9X processor promises faster-than-desktop class performance, a full 22 times faster than the original iPad.
Smart Connector will attach to the Smart Keyboard, and automatically switch between the iOS software keyboard and physical keys when the accessory is in use. Apple will ship the Apple Pencil along with the iPad Pro, which is a stylus that measures position, force and tilt during input. Not only this, but the Apple Pencil can be used in combination with fingers on the display.
The Apple Pencil is charged directly with a built-in Lighting connector, and offers hours of battery life. The stylus can be used directly in Mail or Notes to hand-write annotations or draw sketches. Variable display refresh rate helps to save on battery life, which comes in at 10 hours. The iPad Pro also features 4-speaker sound. Pricing is as follows:
