The iPhone X eliminated the home button to extend its Super Retina display all the way to the corners of the screen. How does one invoke Siri on the iPhone X, iPhone 11, and other models without a home button?
To start a query with Siri on the iPhone X or later:
- Long press the side button
Basically, the side button replaces the home button for opening Siri on the iPhone X. The side button has previously been referred to as the power button, or sleep/wake button. Owners can also say "Hey Siri" to ask the personal voice assistant questions from nearby. This can be enabled in iOS Settings.
