With the launch of the fourth generation Apple TV, there are now three different models available for purchase. The Apple TV 4 comes in two varieties and features the A8 processor.
Apple TV 4th generation with 32 GB of storage: $149
Apple TV 4th generation with 64 GB of storage: $199
The 3rd generation Apple TV continues to be available for $69.
UPDATE: The fourth generation Apple TV will be available for pre-order on October 26, 2015, and it will begin shipping at the end of October.
Apple is not offering pre-orders for the Apple TV 4 at this time. Interested buyers will need to purchase the 4th generation Apple TV the old fashioned way. The Apple TV 4G hits shelves starting in late October, 2015.

The three-year old Apple TV has finally been refreshed. Apple detailed the next generation Apple TV at its fall media event. Highlights include a brand new remote control, which adds touch controls and Siri integration to the experience. The top surface of the remote is designed with a glass surface for easy swiping and touch selection. Siri brings voice search to the device, spanning multiple content sources such as Netflix and Hulu and returning all relevant watching options in one place.

Nothing about the Apple TV 4 is set in stone at this point and it hasn't even been officially announced yet. It is likely that Apple will announce the new Apple TV at the World Wide Developers Conference in June. Apple usually has a fall lineup of devices and the fourth generation Apple TV will likely hit the shelves then, along with an upgraded iPhone 6.
The fourth generation Apple TV upgrades to the 64-bit A8 processor found in Apple's iPhone 6. This is significantly more powerful than the A5 chip found in the current 3rd generation Apple TV and will allow for graphics quality that could compete with popular gaming consoles like the Playstation 4 and Xbox One. The new Apple TV 4G also has onboard storage, unlike the 2nd and 3rd generations which have no storage capacity aside from some flash memory for buffering.
