Apple has announced a date for its highly anticipated October event, the second special Apple Event this fall. The fireworks begin on Tuesday, October 13 at 10 AM Pacific (1 PM Eastern) and is titled "Hi, Speed." With new iPads and the Apple Watch Series 6 already on the books, the event next week is expected to be all about the upcoming iPhone 12 models.

Several new product announcements are expected, however it's looking as if the iPhone 12 reveal may be postponed until a future date. One leading indication is the September event title, "Time Flies".

A concept video of an "iPhone 12 Flip" appeared on Instagram in February 2020, garnering over 2.5 million views. However, there is no actual iPhone 12 flip phone or any known plans for Apple to produce one in the near future.
